Donald R. Crowell is a litigation attorney with Accident Law Group. He has exclusively represented injured victims in Arizona since 1976. He is certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation, a distinction a few qualified attorneys earned. He has been a top-rated Southwest Super Lawyer since 2007.
Don is a true Arizona native, having been born, raised, and educated in Tucson, Arizona. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona with a double major in history and government. In addition, he received his certification in secondary education (high school teacher). Don also attended law school at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
Don has been happily married to his wife, Robin, a retired school teacher, for almost 44 years. Together they have a son and a daughter, and two wonderful grandchildren. Don and Robin are avid supporters of Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Ryan House, and animal welfare organizations.
Why Hire a Certified Specialist
Similar to the medical field, where one doctor can’t remain current in all areas, the legal profession has grown so complex that attorneys can no longer be all things to all people. With a State Bar of Arizona Certified Specialist, you can be confident that the attorney you choose has been independently verified to have extensive experience and knowledge in your area of need.
When you have experienced the heartache of an injury or death and need an attorney to help, choosing a State Bar Certified Specialist can give you peace of mind. Why? Because they have demonstrated that they have advanced knowledge and experience relating to complex injury and wrongful death litigation, and you will receive excellent legal care.
An Arizona attorney must meet the following minimum standards for Specialization in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death:
- Admission to the practice of law for at least five (5) years
- Admission to the State Bar of Arizona for at least two (2) years immediately preceding submission of the application
- Devotion of at least 50% of a full-time practice to the specialty area
- Substantial involvement in the certification area for four to six of the years immediately preceding submission of the application
- A full peer review is conducted and a written examination must be passed.
Don is the first Certified Specialist in our office and can answer any questions you have for him. At Accident Law Group we like to put our clients first and will do anything and everything we can to help you with your accident.
